Professional Amphibious Excavator for Challenging Terrain

The HEKING HK200SD Amphibious Excavator is a high-performance amphibious excavator designed for demanding operations in wetlands, swamps, rivers, shallow water areas, and unstable ground conditions. Developed for professional contractors and infrastructure companies, this machine combines powerful excavation performance with excellent flotation capability and low ground pressure.

With a 20-ton operating weight and a maximum digging reach of 10.8 meters, the HK200SD is suitable for medium and large-scale dredging, environmental restoration, flood control, and marine engineering projects. Its advanced amphibious pontoon undercarriage enables efficient operation where conventional excavators cannot safely travel.

The reinforced pontoon structure provides excellent buoyancy and machine stability while working on muddy or waterlogged surfaces. The design minimizes terrain damage and allows reliable travel across soft soil conditions often encountered in wetlands and riverbank construction zones.

Reliable Engine and Hydraulic Performance

The HK200SD is powered by a Mitsubishi 4D34 inter-cooled turbo diesel engine delivering 70 kW at 2200 rpm. Known for durability and stable performance, the Mitsubishi engine provides the consistent power required for continuous heavy-duty excavation operations.

The hydraulic system is equipped with a DOOSAN T5V63 variable plunger pump and PARKER AV170 control valve system. This configuration ensures smooth hydraulic response, accurate operation, and efficient digging performance in difficult working environments.

The four-motor travel system is one of the major advantages of the HK200SD amphibious excavator. Compared with standard two-motor systems, the four travel motors significantly improve traction, maneuverability, and stability on soft ground, steep embankments, and swamp areas.

The machine also features strengthened track shoes and reinforced chains for increased durability and longer service life in abrasive conditions such as sand, gravel, sludge, and shallow water environments.

Flexible Amphibious Pontoon System

The amphibious pontoon undercarriage is specifically engineered for floating and soft ground operations. The large pontoon dimensions of 9258 mm length and 1466 mm width provide strong flotation support and operational balance.

The standard manual extendable undercarriage allows adjustment of machine width to improve transport convenience and jobsite stability. Customers can also choose the optional hydraulic extendable undercarriage for faster and more efficient width adjustment during operation.

The overall width can expand from 4231 mm to 5051 mm, improving stability during excavation and lifting operations. For deep-water applications, optional additional pontoons and spuds are available to enhance buoyancy and anchoring capability.

Wide Range of Applications

The HEKING HK200SD Amphibious Excavator is widely used in:

  • River dredging projects

  • Wetland restoration operations

  • Swamp excavation work

  • Lake and pond maintenance

  • Waterway cleaning projects

  • Coastal engineering construction

  • Flood prevention infrastructure

  • Pipeline installation in marshland areas

  • Environmental rehabilitation projects

  • Mining sediment removal operations

Its low ground pressure of only 0.14 kg/cm² allows safe operation on soft surfaces while reducing the risk of sinking.

Built for International B2B Markets

HEKING designs amphibious excavators for global contractors, equipment distributors, rental companies, and government infrastructure projects. The HK200SD is suitable for Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia, and other international construction markets where wetland and dredging equipment demand continues to grow.

Production time is within 20 days after receipt of down payment, allowing fast project deployment for international buyers. Payment terms are based on T/T with 30% advance payment and 70% balance before delivery.

HEKING also offers customized solutions according to customer requirements, including optional deep-water configurations, customized pontoons, additional hydraulic functions, and attachment compatibility for specialized operations.
